Treating Acne

While traditional treatments focus on either the cause or the visible symptoms of the skin condition, InSkin Laser & Body uses a solution that targets both, resulting in greater clinical outcomes and higher patient satisfaction.  The Acne treatment uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) where pulses of broad-spectrum light are selectively filtered and delivered into the skin and absorbed by target chromophores and transformed into therapeutic heat.  Blue light targets the porphyrian produced by Propionibacterium Acnes bacteria, leading to destruction of the bacteria, while the longer wavelength of red light controls inflammation and promotes faster healing
